FIRE RETARDANT PROTECTIVE CLOTHING PROBAN DENIM

  1. Heat & Flame Retardant clothing (Coat) made of 100% cotton denim fabric.
  2. The fabric /Fibre shall be treated with PROBAN®, THPC technology, Licensed by Rohida Novacare, U.K. The Clothing shall bear PROBAN® genuine logo.
  3. The clothing shall be of Indigo Blue color with weight of 450gsm/m² -500gsm² – 14.5oz sort no 9497981.
  4. After 50 cycles of washing with natural detergent the fabric must retain its fire retardant properties.
  5. The fire retardant cloth must have comfort like air permeability, moisture transmission and shall not cause any skin irritation and harmful toxic effect.
  6. The cloth is free from Foul smell.
  7. The fabric tested and confirmed from Indian recognized lab.

7. Coverall specification

• The Coverall Shall have 2 (two) chest pocket, side pocket, back pocket, 1(one) pen pocket, Metallic Zipper at front, with covering flap. High Visibility FR reflective Tapes at Shoulder, Arm & Knee.
• All the trims like Zipper, Tape, Threads, and Velcro etc. should be flame retardant and test certificate of all the trims have to be submitted along with the supply. It shall be stitched with flame retardant thread
• Coverall shall be ironed / pressed and packed in the sealed plastic bags
• After 125 cycles of washing with neutral detergent the fabric must retain its fire retardant properties
• The fire retardant cloth shall have comfort like air permeability, moisture transmission and shall not cause any skin irritation and harmful toxic effect
• The cloth shall not give any foul smell; the Tenderer shall confirm this in its offer.
• The suit shall be supplied in size S,M, L, XL, XXL.

8. Jacket & Trouser Specification

• The jackets shall have 2 (two) patch type pockets on the chest with covering flaps, and the trousers shall have 2(two) side pockets and 2(two) patch type back pockets with covering flap.
• All the trims like Zipper, Tape and Velcro etc. should be flame retardant and test certificate of all the trims have to be submitted along with the supply. It shall be stitched with flame retardant thread
• Fire Retardant jackets and trousers shall be ironed / pressed and packed in the sealed plastic bags.
• The suit shall be supplied in size S,M, L, XL, XXL.We can do the customize garment as per customer requirement.

9. Labcoat

Technical Specifications of Nomex (R) garments

The single layer Nomex® garments that we propose to offer will have the following broad specification:

a) The fabric to be used for the garments would be Nomex® IIIA fabric, of the following composition : 93% Meta Aramid ( Nomex® ), 5% Para Aramid ( Kevlar®), and 2% P-140 Antistatic fiber.

b) The weight of the Nomex®IIIA fabric would be 220 GSM (Gm/sqmtr)

c) The fabric should pass the vertical flame test result as per FTMS 191A; 5903.1

d) The fabric should be inherently Flame Retardant and not coated / Treated for Fire Retardant properties.

Fire Retardant Protective Clothing

e) The fabric should have very good static charge dissipative properties (antistatic properties),and this should be effective even at low humidity levels as low as 20% relative humidity, as per EN 1149 standard

f) The accessories used for the garments like zip, threads, reflectives etc should be Fire Retardant. The inside lining of the pockets should also be made of Nomex IIIA fabric.

g)The garment should be able to withstand at least 125 wash cycles without losing the Fire Retardant properties.

h)The garment would be certified under CE certification.

i) The staple fiber used to make the fabric should have the following properties of Fiber Dtex : 1.7 Dtex, Break Tenacity : cN/tex : 31, Break Elongation % :30, Fiber Length , mm : 50.the fabric would be certified as per prEN ISO 11612:2006, wherein it is tested as per the following:

  • Limited Flame Spread ( Code letter A1 ) ( As per Test method ISO 15025:2000 )
  • Convective Heat ( Code letter B) ( As per Test method ISO 9151:1995 )

Inherent Nomex Coverall

Flame Resistant Nomex® Coverall

Garments made with Nomex® Fabric, provide inherent heat and flame resistance, along with excellent durability-wash after wash.
In addition, Nomex® Fabrics will not, drip or burn. Unlike chemically treated Fabrics, protection provided by Nomex® is built into the fabric, so the inherent thermal protection properties can never be washed out or worn away.

Nomex® fiber protects workers in the petroleum, petrochemical, electric and gas utility industries, as well as the fire services and racing markets, from the heat and flame of flash fires.
